Some things to think about.
Adding registered instruments (development covenant, easement, or right of way) to your property title can be a fairly time consuming process. It doesn’t have to be. Come prepared with the names and contact info of the banker, building inspector (city planner), and neighbour(s) and their lawyer(s), insurance agent, and utilities officer. This will save you time by ensuring the correct documents are used and everything is signed off on, in the correct order.
Strata insurance can be tricky depending on the structure of the strata. If you do not have an agent who is specialized in strata insurance, reach out to us and we’ll refer you to agents who can ensure you are properly insured.
