Born and raised in Calgary, Jennette began her legal career as a legal assistant with Rogers & Company. She was drawn to the fast-paced nature of real estate, and continued to work as a real estate paralegal while completing a finance and economics degree.

After completing her Law degree at the University of Alberta, she joined the national law firm of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, working as an associate in one of Canada’s largest and most successful real estate groups. There, she worked on numerous large-scale purchases, sales, leasing, and financing files, in addition to handling residential real estate matters.

In 2011, Jennette moved to the Okanagan to set up her own practice, while also servicing the northern, energetic city of Fort St. John. Thanks to technology, she is still able to offer the same level of service northern clients have grown to expect, at a distance.

Being a member of both the Alberta and the British Columbia bar allows Jennette to provide legal advice to clients in both jurisdictions.

Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her energetic young family, and exploring the wilderness at her new rural property.

Tracy Lerfold

Paralegal

“Every file that crosses my desk is unique. I endeavour to tailor each client’s experience to their needs. Whatever their circumstances, I find common ground to make our clients feel comfortable.”

Tracy is a proud, born and raised Kelownian, from a large family. She completed all of her studies locally, including a Legal Assistant/Office Administration Diploma in 2005. After completing her schooling, she temporarily relocated to Calgary before setting off for a year of backpacking through eastern Australia. There, she picked, packed or planted almost every different type of fruit or vegetable. From these experiences, she gained a lot of new muscles and a sweet tan.

Upon returning to Kelowna, Tracy joined a large, full-service law firm, where she gained experience with residential real estate and corporate records. From there, she worked in the planning department of the RDCO, gaining invaluable experience drafting bylaws, zoning matters, and development.

Following that, Tracy joined the Residential Tenancy Branch. There she guided landlords and tenants through the Residential Tenancy Act, while navigating relations through arbitration. She returned to law in 2012, joining a start-up boutique, solicitor law firm, where she did any, and every, solicitor area of law. This included wills and estates, land development, commercial transactions and her personal favourite – complex real estate.

Tracy also gained a wealth of experience in foreign document legalizations and to date has successfully legalized documents from Mexico, the Netherlands, India, and Poland.

When she’s not at the office, you can find Tracy gardening, hiking the local mountains with her young family, or hanging out at the local wineries or beaches with friends.
